Litigation and Research

Faith works on the firm's commercial litigation and insolvency matters. Her experience includes supporting commercial litigation before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, a human rights complaint against a Saskatchewan municipality, and litigation strategy for human rights issues before the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal.

Faith successfully opposed an application for a preservation order on behalf of a Baker Law Firm client. The Court agreed with her that the plaintiff had not established that it would suffer irreparable harm and that the balance of convenience favoured the firm's client.

Her legal research has addressed privilege in reports of sexual assault, non-disclosure agreements, consent and defamation proceedings.

Education and Background

Faith earned her Juris Doctor at Dalhousie University, with specialization certificates in Health Law & Policy and Aboriginal and Indigenous Law. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in History and Political Science from Carleton University.

Before law school, Faith worked in human resources, corporate strategy, and business development, helping develop policies and business strategies informed by workforce data.
